At Trinity Groves, your social calendar — and even your budget — has something to look forward to every single day of the week.
Monday: Cheep Chicken at Fat Chicken
Which came first: the $5 Chickerones or the $5 Deviled Eggs? It’s something to ponder on Cheep Chicken night as you work through the namesake special: an eight-piece bucket, homemade biscuits, coleslaw and your choice of side. And all this, as they say, for not much scratch.
Tuesday: Souk Social Hour
You may become a believer in the “staycation” when you realize that this Mediterranean Bistro can transport you to a new world of flavors while sparing you a long flight to (and climb up) the Atlas Mountains. Tuesdays feature half-off spreads and selected bottles of wine. Plus, $7 Signature Cocktails means it’s time to explore your curiosity by sampling an Alia’s Frozen Whisky or giving in to the Blackberry Seduction.
Wednesday: Salsa Night at Beto & Son
It’s worth getting over the hump just for DJ Wander’s taste in salsa and bachata, but don’t leave Beto & Son without kicking up your heels to least one song. Wander and Mahsh lead a free basic dance lesson on the patio starting at 7 p.m. Once you’ve worked up a thirst, return to your table and refresh yourself with a famous — albeit off-menu — Liquid Nitro Margarita and make the most of the middle of the week.
Thursday: Rocco’s Rooftop Lounge at Saint Rocco’s
The third-floor roof deck at Saint Rocco’s is, in every sense, a breath of fresh air. Doors open at 5 p.m., which gives you plenty of time to line up your ideal sunset spot. In the meantime, whet your appetite with Manicotti and Burrata and Garlic Shrimp. And don’t forget to toast the skyline with, say, an Aperol Spritz.
Friday: Live Music at Babb Brothers
The barbecue will stick to your ribs, and the blues will feed your soul. Maybe that’s why Mike Babb doesn’t just ring in the weekend with Rib Tips (get ‘em while you can!), but also with a steady diet of live music from friends like Texas Slim and The Rub.
Saturday: Steak Night at The Hall
All the camaraderie of your alma mater’s dining hall, only featuring a menu that’s entirely grown-up. Ribeye, Wagyu, and New York Strip bring extra sizzle to the grill at this saloon-style steakhouse. Whether you’ve come to celebrate National Filet Mignon Day or the start of the college season, be prepared to become a loyal fan.
Sunday: Brunch at Chino Chinatown
It might be hard to sleep in knowing there’s a mimosa like no other waiting for you on Chino Chinatown’s brunch menu. Indeed, you may think you’re still dreaming when you taste the Lo’Mosa’s distinctive blend of tangerine, pineapple, and champagne. And that’s before you sink your teeth into Sticky Chicken Sliders, Duck Fried Rice and Tres Leches French Toast. Tell us again why this day has to end?
By our count, that’s seven days, seven nights, and a nearly limitless number of ways to make your week something special with a visit to Trinity Groves. We don’t have to call it a date, but we look forward to seeing you here!
