Located in the heart of Trinity Groves, nestled among a collection of some of the best Mexican restaurants in Dallas, Beto & Son is serving up a fresh, innovative take on Mexican cuisine. Although there is no shortage of Mexican food in Dallas, the dishes being served by father-and-son chefs Beto and Julian Rodarte combine ingredients and flavors in entirely new ways.
The Rodartes have an incredible list of credits. Both have a passion for cooking that was nurtured in their home kitchens throughout their childhoods, blossoming into the incredible talent they share today. Beto graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York, going on to win the “Hot Concept of the Year” Award from the National Restaurant Association for his work with the dynamic Phil Romano. Julian is a culinary star in his own right, named one of Zagat’s 30 Under 30 winners in 2017. Their shared passion for incredible food and unique kitchen creations makes them an incredible team, coming together to create the best Mexican food in Dallas.

“This was my first restaurant in Dallas and it made me love Dallas even more than I already did. Food’s great, drinks are amazing, and service was outstanding. I got the chicken enchilada and everything about it was so bomb. My girlfriend got the shrimp fajitas and that was good as well. I also got the house margarita and they definitely give you your money’s worth. Our server took great care of our table and I like how personable she was. Another reason I cannot wait to visit Dallas again! Absolutely recommend this restaurant.” – Chase P.
“I am not the biggest fan of Mexican food (I grew up in NY), but I recently met a friend at Beto & Son for lunch and left so impressed with the food and overall experience. I can’t wait to go back to Beto for their ceviche and to try more of their items. Their menu looked super interesting and definitely worth exploring.” – Grace S.
