In 1849, pioneers from the East Coast, malcontent with their present lot, packed their entire existence in covered wagons en route to California in search of something new and promising. Had that journey commenced in 2013, one might argue they only needed to venture halfway, more specifically, to West Dallas.
Savor Dallas, CBS RADIO Dallas-Fort Worth, and Trinity Groves aligned forces on a rainy September evening to put forth a noteworthy display of delectable fare from the future tenants of Trinity Groves. (We were invited as guests.) The gathering, announced as Pairings, showcased the true potential of what’s to come by way of 3015 at Trinity Groves, Amberjack’s Fish Market Grill, Luck (Local Urban Craft Kitchen), Chino, Resto Gastro Bistro, Saint Rocco New York Italian, Kate Weiser Chocolates, and Haute sweets.
Despite the sawdust and two-by-four landscape, these first Trinity Groves settlers—many of which are still weeks away from claiming stake to their permanent residences—capably illustrated their talents at independent stations inside 3015.
